Accounts and eligibility

Account registration and participation in the current preview are limited to United States residents. International registration is not currently offered.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must agree to your use of Next Quest and these terms. Do not create an account if you do not meet these conditions. Do not impersonate another person through your username or profile. Do not use direct messages for harassment, threats or spam. You may block messages and report a received message for review. Keep your account credentials private, provide accurate account information, and notify support@playnextquest.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Early-release service

Next Quest is under active development. Features, catalog coverage, availability, and access may change. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, or product changes. We may correct or remove inaccurate content and suspend access that threatens the service or other users.

Game information and recommendations

Catalog details, availability, prices, playtime estimates, and recommendations are provided for discovery and planning. They may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Check the retailer or platform before purchasing or making a time-sensitive decision.

Recommendations reflect available data and the choices saved to your account. They are opinions and product outputs, not guarantees that you will enjoy a game.

Community posts, replies and comments

Feed posts, replies and Watch comments are visible to other signed-in players with your display name. Only publish content you want to share. Keep conversations respectful; use spoiler labels when appropriate. Do not post harassment, threats, spam, illegal material, private information, impersonation, or content you do not have the right to share.

You retain ownership of your posts. By posting, you grant Next Quest a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate, secure and moderate the service. This permission does not authorize using your posts in external advertising. It ends when your content is deleted, except for limited backup, legal or security retention described in the Privacy Policy.

You can delete your own posts and comments. Deleting a Feed post also deletes replies to it. Other players may already have saved a copy or screenshot; we cannot remove copies outside our control. Next Quest may remove content or restrict accounts for violations of these rules. Report a post using its Report by email action, or contact support@playnextquest.com with the post identifier, page and reason. Reports are reviewed by the site operator; the reporting action opens your email app and does not send a report automatically.

Copyright concerns

To report suspected infringement, email support@playnextquest.com with your contact details, the work you own or represent, the specific Next Quest content or post identifier, and why you believe its use is unauthorized. We may remove reported content while reviewing the concern and may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe others’ rights in appropriate circumstances. If you believe content was removed in error, contact the same address with an explanation.

This is our general copyright contact, not a representation that a DMCA agent has been registered. Game names, covers, screenshots, videos and platform artwork remain subject to their owners’ rights. Their appearance here does not grant you a license to reuse them.

Retailers and third-party services

Purchases take place with the retailer, not Next Quest. The retailer controls payment, fulfillment, returns, warranties, and customer service. Steam, Xbox, YouTube, IGDB, retailers, and other linked services have their own terms and privacy practices. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply endorsement unless stated.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a harmful rate, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, or use Next Quest to violate law or another person’s rights.

Ownership and feedback

Next Quest’s original design, writing, software, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the service for personal, noncommercial purposes under these terms. If you send feedback, you allow Next Quest to use it without restriction or payment.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent allowed by law. Next Quest disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated here. To the extent allowed by law, Next Quest is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or third-party products.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes and contact

These terms may change as Next Quest develops. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
